Welcoming Baby Number Three with the D Family | A Pittsburgh Newborn Session

A sneak peek of a sweet, in-home newborn session with this family of five in their Highland Park home. All photos by Pittsburgh newborn photographer, Danielle Blewitt Photography.

Session Type: Newborn Photo Session
Location: In-Home | Pittsburgh, PA

Welcoming baby number three is always a big transition, and it was so special to be back with this family again to document another milestone for them. I’ve photographed this crew for years now, so getting to come back and meet their newest little one felt extra full-circle.

As you can imagine, life with three kids brings a lot of movement, and the older siblings definitely kept things lively during this session. They were more than happy to take the spotlight while their new baby sister was feeding, showing me tricks, poses, and all the things they’ve been working on lately.

In the middle of all the chaos that naturally comes with this stage, mom and dad were so calm the entire time. Not in a quiet way — just completely comfortable in it. You can tell they’re right at home in this season of life, and it was fun to watch them take it all in stride.

And baby sister didn’t want to miss a thing. She stayed awake for almost the whole session, watching everything her big brother and big sister were doing and taking it all in. She was so alert and expressive, which made for such a fun newborn session to photograph.

I’m so excited to share more with this sweet family soon, but for now, here’s a little sneak peek of some favorite moments from their newborn session at home.

Life Moves Too Fast!

Hi, I’m Danielle. I’m a Pittsburgh Family + Newborn photographer. As a mom of two, I know how fleeting the early years are. Since we can’t slow down time, we can record the moments that mean so much. I help Pittsburgh families hit pause by recording these memories in photographs and films and I would love to work with you. Let’s see what we can create!
