As a family and newborn photographer in Pittsburgh, I’ve had the privilege of working with many couples as they start their families and navigate the early years. It’s not lost on me that these families are entrusting me to help memorialize and document some of the most special chapters in their lives. This is something I truly cherish.
This sweet new family of four has welcomed me to document their journey from the anticipation of their first daughter, through milestones and family gatherings through the years. Recently they welcomed a new baby boy and invited me to help document this new chapter. I think it was quite apparent from the start of our session that the calm, relaxed nature of their first newborn session would surely be different with a toddler running around this time around. This session was designed to record the look, the feelings and the sounds of this new chapter in their story. It was characterized by lots of singing, games and snuggles. Luckly it didn’t seem like little brother didn’t mind sharing his photo debut with his big sister.
