Some of the best surprises don’t wait around for the date on the calendar. This sweet girl had her own plans from the very start, and she showed up ready to meet her mom and dad a little ahead of schedule — no invitation needed.
This family was referred to me, so it was my first time meeting them, and I feel lucky it worked out that way. Mom and dad were calm and easygoing, and it was clear this brand new baby girl already had them wrapped completely around her finger.
We ended up timing her session right around her original due date, which gave everyone a little extra time to settle in before we met. She was perfect — sleepy, snuggly, and completely content through the whole thing.
This session also came with a bonus — the family dog wanted in on every single shot. He was too photogenic to leave out of the frame, and every time we set up a moment, he found a way to wiggle his way into it, tail wagging the whole time.
