Getting to photograph this family at Phipps for their maternity session and then again in their home a short time later with their baby girl was really special. Those two seasons feel so different — and it’s a gift to get to show up for both.
Their home had gorgeous natural light, and the nursery was just the prettiest backdrop. Everything felt calm and unhurried from the moment we started.
This sweet girl came with the chubbiest cheeks and a full head of hair, and she kept us very entertained with every expression while we waited patiently for that sleepy newborn smile. She was not in a rush to give it up.
Their pup was a total gentleman — calm, relaxed, and completely unfazed by the whole thing. He actually made it into some really sweet frames.
