Family photos in the chaotic early years feel a little messy in the moment but they are always worth it in the end. As a family photographer and mom of two myself, I always joke with parents that they are in the weeds when they have little ones in their very early years. It’s not a joke as I remember that time period well. However chaotic though, these really are the best years and always worth the chaos of recording these moments in family photos.
This sweet family of four brought energy and excitement with them to their mini-session at Hartwood Acres Mansion. We were blessed with the most beautiful, warm summer evening which gave us the perfect setting for fun family photos. These two little ones kept their mom and dad on their toes as we navigated their time at the session. With a few tricks to slow them down, we were able to capture some cute moments.
