Pittsburgh, PA | Family Photographer – Danielle Blewitt
As the busy fall season winds down, I’ve started to reflect on my first full season in business. In addition to feeling an overwhelming sense of gratitude, I have come to realize some of the unwritten bonuses of this job…the people! I’ve had the honor of meeting many new families and getting a glimpse into their world such as this sweet family of 5.
We met on a pretty but chilly fall day and I thank them for braving the cold with me for the sake of photos. Mom and I had a great connection right from the start and I enjoyed getting to know her family before our session. This session was refreshing as it was little change of pace for me. With three older children, I didn’t have to chase around toddlers or try to convince anyone that Elmo was inside my lens (both of which I love doing btw!) But I did get to talk sports, learn about this thing called “Tik Tok” (while simultaneously realizing I’m old). I also got to use some of my corny jokes I’ve been storing up for a few authentic smiles and also peeled mom and dad away for some cute photos and not have to worry that the kids were self destructing.
Here are some of the highlights from this fun session:

Life moves too fast. Although we can’t slow it down, we can record the moments that fill our hearts and tell our story through photos and films. I am a Pittsburgh family photographer and film maker that helps families record their stories and pause some of life’s greatest moments.
