Pouty Lips & Baby Toes: The Sweetest Newborn Session Sneak Peek

A sneak peek of the sweetest little newborn photo session to celebrate this family’s newest addition. All photos by Pittsburgh newborn photographer, Danielle Blewitt.

Session Type: Newborn Photos
Session Location: In-Home

I will never take for granted the beauty in the season of life when a family welcomes a new baby. It’s a time I look back on for my own family and there is always a nostalgia about the feelings of that time. As a newborn photographer, I don’t take for granted the families that welcome me into their home to help record this time.

This sweet family just welcomed a new baby boy who was just over one month new. There was a definite feeling of warmth and openness as they welcomed me into their world as newborn parents. I knew from the start this session would be perfect in every way.

This little guy was just as sweet as he was cute and there was no doubt how happy he was when snuggled up close with his mom. However, I would be remiss if I didn’t share my attention with his energetic bulldog big brother. We made sure to let Winston have his time in front of the camera and I didn’t mind it one bit because it just layered on the cuteness of the session.

Chatting with the mom, it was so clear how much she adores every little detail about her new baby. We’re talking about every tiny roll, every sweet pout – you name it, she loved it. And honestly, getting to focus on those little details made the session even more special.

I’m really excited to share a sneak peek of this session. From big brothers attempts to steal the scene to those quiet moments of cuddles and everything in between, this shoot was just filled with the kind of moments that remind me why I love doing what I do.

Life Moves Too Fast!

Hi, I’m Danielle. I’m a Pittsburgh Family + Newborn photographer. As a mom of two, I know how fleeting the early years are. Since we can’t slow down time, we can record the moments that mean so much. I help Pittsburgh families hit pause by recording these memories in photographs and films and I would love to work with you. Let’s see what we can create!
