Sometimes the best sessions are the ones that feel like a continuation of everyday life—just with a prettier backdrop. I see this family often at our neighborhood pool, and we joked all summer that their oldest never quite recognized me there. But when it came time for photos? She knew exactly what to do.
From the start, their session was full of personality. Big sister brought all the ideas, embraced every prompt, and kept the energy high. Her little sister was more reserved at first, but slowly warmed up—and by the end, she was just as into it. The soft evening light, warm air, and natural setting at Fern Hollow gave us the perfect space to soak it all in.
