There’s nothing like the vibe of a warm summer evening. Even if the days are chaotic, the evenings carry such a chill and relaxed vibe unlike any other time in the year.
I’ve photographed this family for years now, and it’s one of my favorite parts of this job — watching families and little ones grow up a little more with each session. Their energy is always fun and a little wild in the best way, and this year was no different.
We met at Altmyer Park right as the sun was setting and golden hour was at it’s peak. The Wexford park had a beautiful spread of wildflowers in bloom, full of every summer color, and it made for the perfect backdrop for this mini session.
Mom and dad were relaxed and laid back, allowing the kids to be their silly selves. We spent much of the session laughing with each moment and recording it all along the way. That laid-back energy is exactly what made this session work so well.
