Golden Hour Family Photos at an All New Flower-Garden Oasis | S Family

A sneak peek of an all-new location with a not-so-new family. This session was full of adventure checking out a brand new space on this beautiful sun-drenched summer evening. All photos by Pittsburgh family photographer, Danielle Blewitt Photography.

Session Type: Family Photos

As a family photographer and a creative, there is nothing that fills my cup more than getting to flex some creativity with a new space with some warm, golden light. When I was just getting started in my photography career, the thought of a new space would make me panic with all the uncertainty. With years of experience behind me, I now embrace and enjoy the excitement of exploring a new space. Pittsburgh boasts an abundance of locations that celebrate each season. However, I’m always excited to find new locations.

I’ve had the honor of working with this family numerous times to help record all the various seasons and milestones for their growing family. This means that we’ve also leveraged many of Pittsburgh’s best locations for family photos. This sweet, photo-loving momma had her heart set on some photos to embrace the beauty of this summer season but with schedule conflicts, we didn’t think we could make it happen. However, with a little bit of luck, perfect timing, and cooperative weather, we made a super last-minute pivot to jump on the opportunity to check out a brand-new space. This location had the most beautiful flower garden oasis, a wildflower field, and some incredibly rich, warm golden light. Pair that with a family of four happy campers, this session was magic.

I’m totally in love with all the cuteness of this session and I can’t wait to share more from this session but for now, check out some of the highlights from this summery-vibe, family photo session:

Life Moves Too Fast!

Hi, I’m Danielle. I’m a Pittsburgh Family + Newborn photographer. As a mom of two, I know how fleeting the early years are. Since we can’t slow down time, we can record the moments that mean so much. I help Pittsburgh families hit pause by recording these memories in photographs and films and I would love to work with you. Let’s see what we can create!
