Location: Hartwood Acres Mansion – Pittsburgh, PA
Hartwood was showing off for this one. The fall colors were at their peak—rich, warm, and about as good as it gets this year—making it the perfect backdrop for a session full of energy and personality.
I’ve known of this family through school connections over the years, so it was really fun to finally have them in front of my camera.
With four kids all in 3rd grade or younger, this session had that perfect mix of movement and magic. The sisters looked so sweet and delicate in their dresses, while the boys leaned into their wild side—especially their youngest, who fully embraced his role as the wildcard. He had us all laughing, and with a quick shutter and a little flexibility, we ended up with some amazing action shots that truly captured the spirit of their crew.
