Location: Fern Hollow Nature Center – Sewickley, PA
Every once in a while, I get to photograph a family that feels like old friends—and this is one of those families. I’ve had the honor of working with them since their oldest was just shy of a newborn, and watching their family grow over the years has been such a joy.
With three girls—each with her own personality—this session was full of energy, love, and plenty of fun. Big sister brought her calm confidence, the middle was all spunk and movement, and their newest little one fit right in with the sweetest presence. The love between the sisters was easy to see and even easier to photograph.
And mom and dad? They’re the kind of parents who make it all look easy. Their love for their girls shows up in the way they play, snuggle, and go with the flow—making for the most natural, heartwarming moments.
Even with fall colors being a bit elusive this year, Fern Hollow still gave us a beautiful backdrop with warm light and just the right hints of seasonal color. It was the perfect setting for this fun and relaxed family session.
