It’s always extra special when photography overlaps with everyday life—like when your kids become friends at school and you get to know their families along the way.
This sweet crew has become one of those familiar and friendly faces, and I was so honored when they asked me to help update their family photos. After a weather delay (and a whole lot of flexibility on their end), we finally met up at Fern Hollow—one of my favorite spots to highlight fall.
While the sun stayed tucked away, the skies gave us a beautiful softness and the perfect backdrop to explore. Their boys were a little older, great listeners, and made the session fly by. We wandered the space, laughed, and captured some really sweet, relaxed moments that felt just right for this season.
