This session felt like the perfect mix of beautiful chaos and unexpected wins. Soergel Orchards has become one of my favorite new spots this fall, and it all started with this sweet mom asking if we could try it. I’m so glad she did—it’s been a hidden gem in my fall lineup ever since.
We had the best of plans… but didn’t account for one of the busiest fall weekends in mid-October. The place was packed, but this crew didn’t miss a beat. They rolled with it, trusted the process, and gave me everything I needed to make the most of our time together.
We found a few quieter corners among the apple orchards and braved the crowd when we needed that golden light. Their three kids—ranging from upper elementary to high school—were total troopers. They kept things moving, brought the fun, and let their personalities shine through in all the right ways.
This is one of those sessions where the photos reflect the spirit of the evening—flexible, light-hearted, and full of love.
