Life with kids is surely as unpredictable as the weather in Pittsburgh. For this sweet extended family photo session, we had both elements working against us. It’s been a long time coming to plan this family photo session and when we made it happen, other things were against us. With unseasonably chilly weather in early summer and a looming illness, these kiddos were frigid for our first session together. While the first session started with magical golden hour light in the garden, we had to cut our time together short with a redo in the plan.
The second time around, we had a much better forecast to work with and two kiddos that were healthy and full of the sillies. Family is everything and it’s always such an honor to included extended family members in these sessions. These two grandmas were so loved. It was so fun to help capture them with the kiddos. What a truly special bond.
