One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to watch my clients grow from season to season, year after year. You blink, and little ones quickly grow into taller, chattier, independent kiddos full of their own ideas.
That’s exactly how it’s been with this sweet girl. I’ve gotten to photograph her for the past few years now, and it’s been such an honor watching her grow up. This year she came with her mom and her Nona for a solo mini session, just for her.
She was her usual sweet self, a little shy and coy at first, while her mom and Nona kept things silly behind me. That was all it took to pull out some of the sweetest smiles. And like always, she showed up with a fabulous wardrobe, ready to change into dress after dress.
We saved her birthday dress for the end, and it paired perfectly with the golden hour sun at Phipps. All those frills were made for twirling, and she gave us some seriously cute attitude shots to finish things off.
