Just when the kids get a little older and family photos start to feel a bit easier, some families decide to add a new puppy to the mix. It’s one more layer of chaos, but it comes with so much cuteness.
I’ve photographed this family for years now, and their two little ones are growing up so fast. They’re always so sweet, warm and welcoming every single time, and this year they had a new addition to show off.
Their new pup definitely had a mind of his own and wanted to go explore every corner of the park. But every time we needed him, he’d stop and pose for the camera. So we took the opportunity to treat him like the baby of the family and gave him all the attention.
We met at Altmyer Park in Wexford right at the start of fall. The seasonal wildflowers were still in bloom, and they made for such a pretty backdrop for this mini session.
