Whether it’s your first family photo session or you are a seasoned pro, family photos are always an adventure with little ones. Little ones surely run the show when it comes to leading the session. As a lifestyle photographer who specializes in working with families in the early years, my primary objective is to connect with the kiddos before anything else. It is my job to read their moods and channel their energy and excitement.
This family is one of my OGs and because I know them well, it’s always so much fun working with them. The timing of this session was extra special as it was on the eve of big brother’s fourth birthday. It’s been such an honor watching him grow into one of the sweetest, silliest and most charismatic little personalities over the years. I’ve been recording moments for this family season after season since he was only 6 months and it’s been a joy to be a part of.
