“Don’t blink” is one of those seemingly cliche and redundant things everyone wants to tell new parents. It’s advice generally shared by parents who have outgrown those years and many of us wish we could get back. Life with little ones moves fast. Days, months, seasons, and even years all collide together as time moves on. As a mom of two little ones who just keep growing, I try to remind myself to embrace what’s in front of me right now because years from now I’ll miss it.
In the blink of an eye this sweet little guy has turned two. It was such an honor to get to work with this family two years in a row on his actual birthday. We met at the pretty and scenic Beechwood Farms nature preserve which carried nostalgic memories for mom. It was so much fun seeing how much he has grown since last time and getting to record his little personality.
