They say time is a thief, and it’s easy to say that casually. It’s the bigger milestones that give it real meaning. Senior year is one of those — a time of transition, reflection, and celebration. Closing one chapter and opening the next. It’s no wonder it’s one of the most popular milestones to document with photos.
I’ve been photographing this family for years, so getting to be part of this milestone felt really special. I’ve watched her grow up, and seeing her show up as a senior was one of those moments that just hits different.
We had some weather uncertainty going in, but her family was flexible and it all worked out. The evening we ended up with was honestly perfect — warm, golden light and exactly the kind of conditions you hope for.
She was so easy and fun. Bubbly and totally herself from the start — not stiff at all, which made the whole thing feel really easy and natural.
The garden at Hartwood is gorgeous right now. Tons of color and flowers everywhere, and it made for a really beautiful backdrop for her session.
