Session Type: Fall Mini Session
Location: Washington’s Landing (Herrs Island), Pittsburgh
Washington’s Landing is one of those spots that feels a little unexpected. Tucked away along the river, it gives just the right mix of fall color and character — and it’s quickly become one of my favorite places to shoot this time of year.
This session had a bit of a rocky start thanks to city traffic and staggered arrivals. We weren’t even sure if dad would make it in time. But mom and the kids rolled with it. Big brother was all in from the start, and little sister took a little more warming up — but we snuck in some really sweet moments.
Just in time, dad joined, and we moved quickly to make the most of the light. The whole session ended up being full of fun and movement — including one of my favorite shots of big brother showing off his wrestling moves with dad as the sun dropped behind them.
