This mom had one thing on her wish list this summer: a casual backyard session with her girls, doing exactly what they love to do at home. No big production, just their own backyard and a little time to play.
I’ve photographed this family for years now, and it’s been such a treat watching these girls grow up right in front of my camera. This session felt like the perfect next chapter.
The girls spent the evening doing all their favorite things — swinging, and playing in their playhouse, which the littlest one calls “the big house.” She was full of personality the whole time, laughing so much it made the whole session extra cute.
The two of them together were the best part. Big sister was all hugs, kisses, and tickles, and it made for some of the sweetest shots of the day. This family is just warm and fun to be around, and that energy set the tone for the whole session.
